II Corinthians 5:14-15 NASB   For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died;  and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

I was in the backyard and thought my dog might appreciate some attention so I found her tennis ball and threw it…and she just sat there. Thinking she just wanted to relax in the grass, I sat down on the back porch. Then out of nowhere she shot across the back yard and leapt into the air (the highest I’ve ever seen her jump), all because she saw a squirrel running along the back fence. She didn’t mind expending energy; she just needed the right motivation.

If we are living for Christ, and not ourselves, we should have all the motivation we need to work diligently for His Kingdom. Have you lost your motivation? Well remember that “He died for all.” And his motivation was simple: “For God so loved the world...”
